Okay why on earth are there so few Kung Fu Panda blogs on Tumblr? I mean I wouldn’t have though you all would adore these movies!
Fat character who’s training doesn’t involve him losing weight and becoming super muscular and fit but instead has him learn use the cards he was dealt to his advantage and believing in himself.
Complex female character who doesn’t convert to gender roles but is still a woman and is never treated differently for it. She’s also suggested to be the strongest out of her entire team made up of mostly men and makes sure they don’t forget it.
A very feminine female character who is a dangerous and determined warrior but is also gentle and caring. She was also always treated as though she was weak but proved to herself and everyone else wrong by defeating an opponent much stronger than herself by using her wits and a “silly little ribbon”
And the fact that they make an epic team(sorry the pictures are blurry)
Threatening and complicated villain with amazing backstories
They talk about some pretty adult stuff. Like insecurities,
adoption,
childhood trauma! Not to mention the breathtaking animation
So I say once more, why are these fantastic masterpieces of film not getting the attention they deserve?!
